Bread ! was absolutely amazing on the Sunday morning of the 23rd of January. The largest group yet which means the largest grant to be given $230 dollars to be exact. The meal was prepared by Joy CostaMarian NguyenAndrew William Erdrich and Myself which filled the stomachs of about 30 people from the Kansas City Community. Once again, Farm To Market Bread generously donated bread for the meal (Chile Cheese French Toast was a huge hit !).  Andrew LylesCarmen MorenoMarlee Stempleman chased after the Bread Grant!  Andrew is opening an artist run gallery space in the 18th st. area called the Spray Booth Gallery, Carmen is creating an interactive piano in which sound and color frequency will match, and Marlee who organizes a high school poetry group called the Troubadours won the $230 dollar grant to create a scholarship for one of those students and also to help bring in guest artist for workshops.

The Venue was fantastic since Bread ! currently has no home, CATA kindly offered their hospitality. If you have not been there yet, please go!  The space and project is amazing. Here is their website: CATA, Thanks to Seth Johnson and Ashely Miller.
